wear your love

(no subject)

elicia8 tagged me for the music meme:

List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LiveJournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.

Seven? Are you kidding?

The constant truth is I listen to Dave Carter all the time, but I also post him all the time. I am currently possessed by Jean Jacques Burnell's opening theme for Gankutsuou, but I posted that not long ago. So here's a few that are currently at the top - but you would be safe in assuming that most of them represent at least a whole album.

Are You Happy Now (Richard Shindell)
Lee called to ask about Shindell recently, and that meant I had to move everything to the top of the list.

Come On Home (Stephan Eicher)
about 10 albums - never comes out of the playlist

Cruisin (Lucy & Ramona & Sunset Sam) (Michael Nesmith)
A favorite, we used to sing this to the cats

Falling Star (Tom Prasada-Rao)
maybe my favorite not love song

Sex Bomb (Max Raabe & Das Palast Orchester)
Annaliese and Lee turned me on to them

Rock Me On The Water (Jackson Browne)
still my favorite of his albums

Sweet Shameless Hours (Roy Forbes)
This is another of my perfect albums

Hitler's Tears (John Wesley Harding)
I was duping some Wes for Lee and now....

While hearing wind of the dawn (Theme song for Omishi Magical Theater)
this is to represent the huge ammount of anime music we're playing at the moment, especially in the car. I'm going to be Risky if I grow up.

The Loneliest Of Times (Jory Nash)
I beg him to play this (and Terrible Man) every time we see him

Oh Very Young (Cat Stevens)
been feeling very retro since Yule. I haven't played him so much since college.

Native Son (Oysterband)
how do you pick one Oysterband song?

My Father's Shoes (Cliff Eberhardt)
I love everything on this album

Mashed Potatoes (Brak from Cartoon Planet)
If we were getting married now, this would be our wedding song
