I don't think this poem has ever been anywhere but in Starlight's HASA forum.
I wrote it for her birthday, to commemorate her starting the constellation challenge,
for which I wrote As Truly As The Arrow Flies.

The Far Stars

He knew the place of each star on the chart,
So when the darkness sought to pull him under
He trusted to the north star in his heart;
refused to let his soul be torn asunder.

He rose, a phoenix born in his own flame
And when the shadow sought him in the fight
The archer’s hand took sure and steady aim.
The raven’s wings are stronger than the night.
