I just pre-ordered this as an early yule present for us both.

When The Two Towers exhibit was in Toronto, I got to spend three days soaking it up. I have hardly ever enjoyed anything so much. (And I am pretty darn good at enjoying)

The detail in the Weta Work and the Alan Lee design is mindboggling. Unlike the Return of the King exhibit in Boston (which was a beautiful celebration of a movie) The Toronto experience was set up as a series of rooms each an exhibit of a different culture or natural area. Nothing broke that wall to say - this is fiction. (Plus, they were exceptionally wonderful to me, especially by day 3.) We got to see the difference in armour, down to the rivets. I am hoping the book will follow that experience.
