Jim and I often watch tv with the subtitles turned on, (British Accents, Air Conditioner noise, hard of hearing friends, and what we refer to as "Viggo Volume" - when the ambient noise is loud, the music is louder but the character you're trying to hear takes soft spoken to a new level)

I don't know if any of you have experience with this, but a day does not go by where I am not screaming about the malapropisms, spoonerisms, voodoo spelling, whatever - and that's not even counting a Week of Law and Order that had all vowels replaced with K , Z or R.

So i nearly fell of the couch tonight watching old Barney Millers. They can't spell precinct correctly, but Wojciehowicz? No problem! (Just like it sounds....)
